Best Breakfast & Brunch in Oviedo, FL

Breakfast in Oviedo is easier to plan when you know whether you want a diner platter, a biscuit, or a Sunday-only brunch dish before you pick the place. The Short Stack Platter at The Town House is the plate I’d start with on an early morning: two pancakes, two eggs, and bacon, sausage, or ham. On a different day, the Squawking Goat at Maple Street—hand-breaded chicken, crispy goat cheese, and pepper jelly on a biscuit—would be the order before the morning gets loud. The choice is matching the dish to the schedule, because several good spots close by mid-afternoon while a couple keep breakfast going all day. These are six Oviedo breakfast and brunch options I’d use for different mornings, based on current official menus and posted hours.

A diner plate at The Town House when breakfast can start early or run late

The Town House is the spot I’d pick when the main requirement is a real breakfast plate and the time of day doesn’t have to be 8am. Breakfast runs all day, and the posted hours start at 6am Monday through Saturday. I’d order the Short Stack Platter: two pancakes, two eggs, and a choice of bacon, sausage, or ham for $13.49. If I wanted a bigger plate, the Historic Downtown Oviedo Platter at $15.99 combines two eggs, bacon and link sausage, grits or home fries, and an open-faced biscuit with sausage gravy.

The one schedule restriction is Sunday, when opening moves to 7am instead of 6am. You can see the rest of the breakfast selection on the official dine-in menu or find the location in the Town House profile.

First Watch for a table that can’t agree on one breakfast

First Watch is useful when someone wants eggs, someone wants a produce-heavy plate, and someone else wants pancakes without needing a second stop. The Oviedo branch serves breakfast and brunch from 7am to 2:30pm every day, which makes planning simple and rules out a late afternoon start. The Traditional is $14.49, and the Avocado Toast is $13.99 on the current pickup menu; the AM Superfoods Bowl and Market Hash, at $14.29 and $15.29, give the table something other than the standard egg plate.

The online waitlist is the step I’d take before heading over, especially on a weekend. You can check the current options on the Oviedo menu.

Maple Street for a biscuit sandwich and a lower-priced morning stop

Maple Street Biscuit Company at Oviedo on the Park is the one I’d choose when the day calls for a savory sandwich that doesn’t require a full diner spread. Classic Biscuit – Bacon, Egg & Cheese is $6.49 on the pickup menu, and it is the item I’d pick when a $6.49 sandwich fits better than a full plate. The Squawking Goat at $10.99 is my choice when I want hand-breaded chicken, crispy goat cheese, and pepper jelly on a biscuit, because those ingredients do more than a plain egg sandwich.

The schedule is the thing to keep in mind: weekdays end at 2pm, weekends at 3pm. There are also kids options—Little Grace, a half chocolate chip waffle, and the Egg Biscuit, both $6.49—so it works as a family stop before the afternoon closes in. The pickup menu has the current prices and combinations.

Another Broken Egg for a Southern-style brunch plate

Another Broken Egg Cafe is the place I’d choose when Shrimp ’N Grits or Eggs Benedict sound better than a quick sandwich. The Shrimp ’N Grits is $18.59 on the current pickup menu, and the Eggs Benedict is $15.69.

The Oviedo branch opens at 7am on weekdays and weekends, closes at 2pm Monday through Friday and 3pm Saturday and Sunday. The branch pickup menu shows the savory side of the menu, and the official waitlist is the practical way to handle a busier morning.

Sushi Pop for a Sunday brunch that goes beyond the usual eggs

Sushi Pop is the only option in this group with a dedicated Sunday brunch, and that narrow window is exactly when I’d plan around it. Brunch runs Sunday from 11am to 3pm; there is no Saturday brunch. The current brunch menu is not a normal breakfast lineup: Tokyo Toast at $15 is a milk bread French toast with cherry cabernet compote and maple syrup mascarpone, and Shrooms at $21 pairs mushrooms, truffle butter, kimchi, poached egg, and garlic panko. I’d order the Shrooms.

Because this is a one-day-only service, I’d use the Resy reservations page rather than guessing about a table. Check the current brunch menu before you commit, and see the Sushi Pop profile for the local listing. The menu also states it cannot accommodate severe allergies.

Zaza for coffee first and an early Cuban breakfast

Zaza Cuban Comfort Food on Alafaya Trail is the stop when the first priority is coffee and the food can be a portable egg sandwich. The breakfast combo at $9.80, offered 7am to 11am, includes a 12-ounce brewed coffee or soft drink; after 11am the regular breakfast items continue, just without that package. The Egg con Queso is $7.90 on the brand menu, and a regular café con leche is $3.95.

I’d put in an order through the official ordering page when I want coffee and a breakfast sandwich without sitting down, and the Zaza profile has the local listing.

Kids menus and the question of arriving late

First Watch, Maple Street, and Another Broken Egg all post current kids options. First Watch lists kids items like the Half Waffle or Bacon & Egg at $7.59 on the pickup menu. Maple Street’s Little Grace half chocolate chip waffle and Egg Biscuit are $6.49 each. Another Broken Egg’s kids menu is aimed at ages 10 and younger.

All of the hours in the table are posted service windows, which are not the same as a last kitchen-order time. If you are trying to arrive close to a closing time, call the branch before you drive.

A short source note: this guide was desk-researched from current official menus and posted hours on October 17, 2026, not from meals ordered or restaurant visits. I selected the six options for menu fit, service windows, and useful price examples; paid directory placement did not determine inclusion.
