Public play, first contact, and the three ways in
The pro shop number is (407) 366-1211. You don’t need a membership to book a round. The City of Oviedo’s course page describes it as an 18-hole Joe Lee design between the Big and Little Econ rivers, while the club’s scorecard lists par 72. For tee times, start with the official booking route, which is the same flow linked from the club’s rates page.
From there, the practical fork is round, practice, or instruction. A round means choosing a tee time, a tee length, and either 9 or 18 holes if both are offered for that slot. A practice visit means the driving range, putting green, or pitching area. Instruction is a separate track: the club lists clinics and programs for men, women, and children, with a dedicated junior golf page for camps and leagues.
Tees at a glance
The most useful pre-booking decision is choosing a set of tees for your normal carry distance, not for a label. The five rows below are a selection from the club’s linked scorecard. Current markers and staff guidance on the day still govern real distances.
Book the round, then compare the whole quote
The booking sequence is straightforward, but the displayed slot price is only the first number to check. Pick your day, party size, and time, and request 9 or 18 holes when the flow offers the choice. Before you confirm, look for whether the cart, any tax or booking fee, and rental clubs are included, and read the cancellation or rain-check terms for that reservation. If any of those fields are missing or unclear, call the pro shop at (407) 366-1211 and ask before paying.
There is one published late-day condition worth building into the choice. The club’s rates page says there are no rain checks after 4 p.m., and play after 4 p.m. starts on the first hole. That removes the rain-check fallback for late bookings, and finishing 18 holes depends on daylight and pace rather than a guarantee. Before you book a late slot, ask the pro shop which holes are offered and what rain-check terms apply to that reservation.
First-visit rules worth knowing before you arrive
The printed scorecard carries a pace-of-play target of 4 hours 15 minutes. That’s a goal, not a promised finish time; keeping up with the group ahead and letting faster players through matters more than the clock. If you’re out of position, let the group behind play through rather than treating the time as a guarantee.
A few other course rules are simple enough to know in advance. Repair ball marks and fill divots. Keep carts at least 30 feet from greens and on paths where they exist. No outside coolers, and food and beverage should be purchased through the club. On wet days, stay on the cart path unless staff announce the 90-degree rule. For dress or rental questions, ask the pro shop before you arrive rather than guessing from a review.
Practice, instruction, and food
The facilities page lists a driving range, putting green, and pitching area open daily to the public. I would not drive over for a bucket without confirming the day’s hours and bucket prices first. The same caution applies to a lesson: instruction and clinics are listed, but the right next step is to call or check the official instruction page for current scheduling.
For juniors, the club’s junior golf page is the real source for the next cohort. Contact the club through that page for current camp or league dates and availability rather than assuming an old listing still has space. The Grill Room offers breakfast and lunch; if a meal is part of the visit, confirm the hours for that specific day. If dinner becomes the plan afterward, our Oviedo restaurant guide is the useful starting point.
Make the first call or booking
Start with the choice. For a round, open the booking page, pick a slot, and check the full quote before paying; if the cart, rentals, or rain-check terms are unclear, call (407) 366-1211. For practice, confirm hours and bucket pricing, then show up ready to work on the swing. For juniors or instruction, use the club’s official pages rather than hoping an old listing still has space.
